Ty Bush, MFA, CAPM

Writer, Producer, & Educator

Ty Bush is a writer, producer, and creative generalist—equal parts storyteller, craftsman, and entrepreneur. A true utility man, he’s as comfortable writing pitch decks as he is rigging lights, driving box trucks, operating cameras, or balancing production budgets.

He launched his career in New York as a scenic carpenter with Curious Pictures and The Atlantic Theater Company while training as an actor with the Atlantic, Stella Adler Studio, and NYC Actors Center. His time in performance and behind the scenes fueled a deep passion for character and story.

Ty’s credits span studio features, indie films, live sports broadcasts, animation, and branded commercial content—always bridging creative vision with technical execution. He’s worked behind the lens, behind the curtain, and behind the scenes.

A graduate of Wabash College (BA), DePaul University (MFA in Screenwriting), and Purdue University (MA in Media + MBA in Project Management), Ty pairs hands-on production experience with a strategic business mindset. He currently teaches media, design, and business communications at Purdue University.
